Finished Project and close-up of the first programmable Musicman Axis built for Drew Montel, new product developer at Musicman guitars in 2008 for the concept evaluation of a Musicman guitar with programmable pickup switching and controls. It features two  Musicman 4-conductor humbucker pickups, a 5-way lever switch preset selector, 5-position rotary bank selector switch and other programmable tone and volume features.

Assembly and close-up of the first programmable Gibson Les Paul equipped with patented Guitar Max technology built for the 2006 NAMM show which was the first two humbucker programmable pickup switching guitar ever produced. It is equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups and volume and tone controls on this guitar are also programmable.

Close-up of the first programmable Fender Stratocaster equipped with patented Guitar Max technology built for the 2006 NAMM show which was the first humbucker + two single coil programmable pickup switching guitar ever produced. It is equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups and a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster Circuit with gain controlled by the system s part of each preset. The tone control on this guitar are also programmable.

Bo Diddley's 555 guitar with programmable effects switching and controls system custom built by PMT engineers in with Bo's personal effect pedals integrated into a custom switching matrix built in the side of the guitar. In addition to switching his effects on and off in combinations of series and parallel and controlling the synth pickup, the batteries were also switched on and off as part of a preset (see extra battery packs in guitar) Not the smartest electrical decision, but he got exactly what he wanted.
